Service Description

Process Safety Management (PSM) requires employers to identify, evaluate, and control the risks associated with the highly hazardous chemicals and processes used in their workplace through hazard assessment of the activities typically associated with risk/safety-based process elements. This course identifies the various policies, practices, and procedures that may be used to implement a PSM system, types of PSM, and PSM compared to and in relationship to OHS requirements. Participants will utilize hazard assessment, preventive controls and corrective action, and field-level risk assessments as a part of a process safety managment plan.
